I’m a guy, who’s going to marry an Indonesian girl, in April 2012. And before then, I’d quite like to be able to talk more with her family, her friends, and the people that are important in her life.

I’ve been learning little bits of Indonesian (or, bahasa Indonesia, as it’s called in Indonesia – meaning literally ‘language of Indonesia) for the past 8 months on and off – but I’ve had no way to really document what I’ve learned, and what needs improvement.

And that’s where this website comes in. Learning in public, and hopefully helping people as I go.
